This was a project completed as part of my MA in Applied Sound for Interactive Media.
Very Naughty Bat is a mobile game where sound is the key gameplay factor. The original concept of the game states in the fact that the player doesn’t see the obstacles, but he can anticipate them by listening to sonic information that are spatially spread in stereo. The game is challenging the ability of players to sonically localise the environment, exactly like bats do thanks to echolocation.
